My Boyfriend Rocks

I used to be the type of girl who never wrote about love. Didn't think there was a boy in this world worthy of my trust. But I found someone supportive of me who never tries to crush my dreams, so I wrote this song to sing. 

My boyfriend rocks. He asks me what I think, respects my point of view. He says I'm pretty and he tells me I rock too. I've heard a million songs about boys who break girl's hearts, but this one's kinda different. My boyfriend rocks. 

My guy respects my privacy, 'cause we both got nothing to hide. He's never jealous of my friends, and he's never made me cry. He will admit it when he's wrong. Don't need a fist to prove he's strong, and that's why I wrote this song. 

He's not controlling, he never would be. He never pressures, 'cause he respects me.
